Tutor Matching
We appreciate the importance of finding a good personality fit between students and tutors. After the initial consult, students and parents fill out a survey that describes what they’re looking for and tells us more about the student – who they are and how they learn. We match students with qualified tutors who we believe can connect on an academic and personal level.
Progress Updates
After each session, your tutor will send a follow-up email to the student and parents summarizing the meeting, along with any Empiric worksheets and a plan of action.

Match with a Tutor
After the initial consultation, students and their parents complete a questionnaire that will help us find the perfect tutor for your student.
Schedule Your First Session
Once we’ve matched you with a tutor, that tutor will reach out to schedule an introductory meeting. We want to make sure students and tutors are a good fit!
Learn from Dedicated Tutors
Our tutors love to learn, teach, and mentor. Over the years, they’ve honed their study skills and time-management strategies.
Constant Communication

Our Rules
What We Do
Customize our Tutoring – We build the depth of understanding necessary for long-term success and help your student prioritize and plan out their week.
Provide Specific Help – We know the studying, test-taking, and essay-writing skills needed to thrive at academically rigorous schools—we’ve experienced it ourselves.
Teach Fundamental Skills – We teach problem-solving skills and essay ideation through practice, helping students develop and master procedures that work for them.
What We Don’t Do
Write Students’ Essays for Them – We will not write your student’s essay for them. We believe in teaching the student how to write the essay, building the skills and sense of style necessary to succeed.
Breach Academic Integrity – We adhere to the highest standards of academic integrity. All of our tutors follow a strict internal Integrity Policy and never share past tests, test problems, or essays.
